Where is the best place to stay to see Badminton at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics?
Badminton will be held at the Porte de la Chapelle Arena, a brand new venue just north of Paris. The best place to stay – if you want to stay nearby – is in the Saint-Denis area or surrounding neighborhoods on the north side of the city. Track & Field will be taking place at the Stade de France. You can also swing by the Basilica of Saint-Denis, most-well known as the final resting place of French kings (all but four), queens (including Marie Antoinette and Catherine de’ Medici) and other nobility and royal persons.
*For some of the hotels located very close to the venue, do your homework and read up on the safety and past guest’s opinions of the area. While there will be lots of security at the Olympic event sites you don’t want to be walking through a bad neighborhood to get there.

Another popular option to consider just south of the arena is the trendy Montmartre neighborhood, home of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica.
If you’d like to avoid the chaos of downtown Paris in the middle of the Olympics stay further north and it should be a bit calmer. However, if you plan to take in other events or would like to see Paris attractions it might make more sense to look closer to the downtown area.
Consider staying near public transport stops if that’s how you plan to travel to the event.
