Where is the best place to stay to see Track & Field at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics?
Track & Field will be held at the at the Stade de France in the commune of Saint-Denis just north of Paris. The best place to stay – if you want to stay nearby – is in the Saint-Denis area or on the north side of the city. A popular option to consider is the trendy Montmartre neighborhood (about 5-6kms south of the stadium), home of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica.
Track & field spectators have an interesting dilemma when choosing their stay because of the stadium’s location. If you’d like to avoid the chaos of downtown Paris in the middle of the Olympics you can stay near the Stade de France or even further north and it should be a bit calmer. However, if you plan to take in other events or would like to see Paris attractions it might make more sense to look closer to the downtown area. Consider staying near public transport stops if that’s how you plan to travel to the event.
