Where can you register for the Prague Marathon?
Registration for the Prague Marathon can be done through the official event website here. Please note there are additional options available for teams/relays, a family/kids run, and even a run with dogs!
Where is the start and finish line for the Prague Marathon? Is a course/route map available?
As of our publication date – the official website still shows the marathon course map from 2023. (If you see this updated – please let us know!)
Assuming the course is similar in 2024 – the start AND finish line will be in the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) area of Prague. This is a very popular area for tourists and it’s little wonder why the race organizers decided to feature the Old Town so prominently. The marathon route makes its way up and down the Vltava River, crossing back and forth over Prague’s beautiful bridges.
Where is the best place to stay for the Prague Marathon?
If you can find available lodging, stay in the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) area of Prague. You’ll be close to the start and finish lines. Additionally, any spectators you might be traveling with will be able to observe the runners at a few different spots on the course if they are willing to walk.
