When and where will the Prague Marathon take place?
The 2025 Prague Marathon is scheduled for May 4, 2025 in Prague, Czech Republic (see more detailed location info below). The race boasts a field of approximately 10,600 annual participants.
Where can you register for the Prague Marathon?
Registration for the Prague Marathon can be done through the official event website here. Please note there are additional options available for teams/relays, a family/kids run, and even a run with dogs!
Where is the start and finish line for the Prague Marathon? Is a course/route map available?

The start AND finish line will be in the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) area of Prague. This is a very popular area for tourists and it’s little wonder why the race organizers decided to feature the Old Town so prominently. The marathon route makes its way up and down the Vltava River, crossing back and forth over Prague’s beautiful bridges.
Where is the best place to stay for the Prague Marathon?
If you can find available lodging, stay in the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) area of Prague. You’ll be close to the start and finish lines. Additionally, any spectators you might be traveling with will be able to observe the runners at a few different spots on the course if they are willing to walk.

What is the course record for the Prague Marathon?
The marathon’s course records are 2:05:09 for men (set by Alexander Mutiso of Kenya in 2023) and 2:19:46 for women (set by Lonah Chemtai Salpeter of Israel in 2019).
