What is the Passion Monuments Pass?
The Passion Monuments Pass now known as the Passion Monuments subscription is an attractions pass granting holders unlimited access to over 90 popular sites around France for one year. Administered by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, the subscription card can be delivered electronically or via mail.
You can buy a Passion Monuments subscription here.
What does a Passion Monuments subscription cost?
The price of the subscription is €45 for one person (SOLO) or €70 for two (DUO), as of 8/29/2023. A small discount is offered for renewals. You can check the current price here.
Is the Passion Monuments subscription worth it?
Of course it is! You can visit over 90 popular sites around France as many times as you wish for an entire year for one low flat rate…
But…a couple quick notes:
- If you are only visiting Paris and want to see the top sites, the Passion Monuments subscription probably isn’t the best. You might want to consider one of these Paris Attractions Passes.
- There is a nice “hack” if you purchase the two-person Passion Monuments DUO subscription. The subscription card only lists one person’s name – which means you can take a different guest every time you use it. And since you can re-visit sites as many times as you’d like…the options are practically limitless! 🙂
For children – depending on their age – the pass is probably not worth it. Check the children’s prices on the websites of the individual attractions you plan to visit to confirm. But many Paris-area and French cultural attractions offer free or specially priced admission for children and those under 26 years of age.
