Please note these are two separate sites within the Parliament complex. Big Ben is the world-famous clock tower. The Houses of Parliament are where official governance operations of the United Kingdom are conducted. The entire complex is a beautiful piece of Gothic Revival architecture worth checking out (particularly when seen from the River Thames at night!).

Are any deals, promotions, discounts or coupon codes offered for Big Ben or Houses of Parliament admission?
For Big Ben, the majority of tourists simply want to see the large clock attraction from the outside and maybe take a photograph or two. That is completely free! Big Ben is located on the western side of the Westminster Bridge near the intersection with Victoria Embankment. For those wanting to tour Elizabeth Tower (that’s Big Ben’s official name) be aware tickets tend to sell out quickly – so make sure to reserve them early here.
The Houses of Parliament offer discounted admission for guided tours of the Palace of Westminster. Individual ticket prices range from £17.00 – £33.00.
- Children: Aged 0-4 years are free (but still require a ticket); 5-15 years are reduced price admission
- Young Adults: 16-18 years are reduced price admission
- Students: Reduced price admission
- Seniors: Reduced price admission
- UK Armed Forces: Reduced price admission
UK residents are also eligible for a free Inside UK Parliament guided tour.
Group rates are available and there is also an “adult and child package” which allows one child free with each full paying adult.
Two additional notes on tours:
Children must be aged 11 or over to take part in the Big Ben tour. Under 18s cannot take this tour without an accompanying adult.
Please note there is no child ticket for a Speaker’s House tour as the content is best suited to those aged 16+.
